The Georgina Joshi Scholarship at the Royal College of Music
Georgina benefited tremendously from the professional training she received at the Royal College of Music, London and the cultural experience of living in London. The Georgina Joshi Scholarship at the Royal College of Music (RCM) celebrates Georgina's life as a singer and her affiliation with RCM. This one-time scholarship was awarded to Suzanne Shakespeare in 2008 so that she she could take full advantage of the tremendous opportunities available to her, as a student at RCM and in London.
The scholarship covered full tuition and fees for a student to attend the Benjamin Britten International Opera School at the Royal College of Music, London and provided a maintenance grant for living expenses and cultural activities while attending the school.
