Georgina Joshi, an accomplished musician and performer inspired her mother, Louise Addicott-Joshi to form the Georgina Joshi Foundation in 2007. The Foundation was created to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Georgina, as well as to inspire students to pursue their musical dreams. The Foundation provides educational and career development opportunities for young musicians by awarding fellowships and scholarships. In addition, the Foundations works to encourage and support the public performance of music.
